Pickup Repair
Pickups are the heartbeat of your guitar’s tone and when they start to fail, it can completely affect your guitar’s sound or ability to send signal out to the amp. We offer comprehensive repair services for all types of pickups—single-coil, humbucker, P90, and more.
We will diagnose the problem, whether it’s a loose wire, worn-out components, solder joint that went cold, or an issue with the magnet, and restore your pickup to full functionality.
Repair Cost Range:
Varies from a starting bench fee of $20 CAD and up.
Pickup Rewinding
Over time, the coils in your guitar pickup can degrade, affecting the sound and signal. Our rewind service is designed to repair this by removing the original coil wire, cleaning and prepping the bobbin/flatwork and re-winding as close to original as we can OR any custom spec you’d like should you want something a little more custom.
We use precision techniques to rewind your pickup with care, ensuring that it sounds great when re-installed. Whether you’re looking to maintain vintage authenticity or simply need a more reliable tone, our rewind service is an excellent solution.
Rewind Price Range:
Single Coil: Up to $140 CAD per pickup
Humbucker: Up to $100 CAD per bobbin
*actual price depends on coil wire type and gauge, pickup type/build etc.
