A look at P90 pickup height vs. pole screw height, magnetic fields and boxing up some Two/52's.

A recent video by our favourite Uncle Larrius sparked this video - he talks about his reasoning behind raising the old P90's on old Gibsons vs. raising the height of the pole screws and I go a bit nerdy and semi-scientific on why his P90 height trick works and sounds better. It's all about the magnetic field, where it's sitting and raising the whole pickup body gets those TWO bar magnets (same type/size magnets as in PAFs) closer to the string.
