Modding a Les Paul Standard 50's - EMG Het Set & Hipshots | The FiftyNiner Winder Show S2E3

Join in on this hang out, where we dive into a Gibson Les Paul Standard 50's for some "open-heart surgery" in Episode 3 (season 2) of the FiftyNiner Winder Show.

We start out by installing Hipshot Locking Tuners, then get a little heavy with some real talk that I think needs to be less taboo. We all have our battles in this weird cruel thing we call life.

After that, we lighten things up a bit by pulling the guts out of this beautiful black Les Paul and install a solderless Active EMG Het Set kit.Turns out, these sound pretty good - unlike my previous experience with other EMG Active systems.
