Tales from a blurry pickup winder | The FiftyNiner Winder Show S01E01

Warning/PSA: This video has a few levels of blurry to it. Learning this whole filming stuff as I go… and it has already shown me I have much to learn. For THIS one however, we’ll just have to deal with it as it is - there is no way in hell I’m re-shooting this one. First takes only!

In this whimsical foray into the lands of the Youtubes, I first shower you with terrible off-the-cuff playing over a recorded loop repeating off a TC Ditto Looper into the Bogner Ecstasy 3534’s effects loop. Then I lay out the purpose and goals for this channel by transitioning into the blurriest forkin’ video you'll ever see in 2024. If it hurts to watch, take solace in the fact that you at least don't have to see my face in high def. I'm like Big Foot, captured naturally blurry - always. Hopefully I can keep you listening with my charm and impeccable choice of words sewn into a spattering of Ums and Ahs. Hoping to make this a fun and different channel even if in the slightest, so that someone somewhere can get something out of it.

The pickups I had in the replica ’59 Burst in the video (both the intro and outro live gig clip) have the FiftyNiner Vintage Customs with Alnico 4 magnets. They are pretty cool and sound bad ass. The videos don't do it justice and I hope to learn more about this video/sound capturing stuff to improve on the sound quality overall down the mile. For now, this is what we have to work with. The outro live clip is from a short gig I did with the band, we go by CRASH CARTER and we have fun jamming old 90’s to 2000’s stuff. We've been jamming together since March 2024 with some of us going back to November 2023. It's all for fun and that's all that truly matters. Anyways, that's it for now.
